Hello,
I purchased KitchenAid induction range KSIB900ESS3 and wondering what are the electrical requirements. I read the user's manual but I am a bit confused.
Model plate shows: Model #KSIB900ESS3 10.8 kW 208 V~ 3-phase / 14.3 kW 240 V~ 60Hz
Owners manual states:
"This range is manufactured with a 4-wire power supply cord rated at 240 V, 40 A, rated at 194°F (90°C) and investigated for use with this range."
"When a 4-wire, single phase 240 V, 60 Hz., AC only electrical supply is available, a 40 A minimum circuit protection is required on 30" (76.2 cm) ranges, fused on both sides of the line."
Will this range work with Single-phase residential electrical supply?
Thanks in advance.
Paul
