• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

    From Jeff's site: http://www.applianceaid.com/component-testing.php

The LCD display on my KitchenAid KMCC5015GSS0 has missing elements on the digits. I would like to replace the LCD display or entire control panel. However, I cannot find either part anywhere. KitchenAid still makes the microwave, so I would think this part should be available. Can anyone help me find either the LCD display or the control panel?

KMCC5015GSS0 does not pull up as good, please recheck it.

Ok, I see the photo, the reason it wouldn't pull up as good is because its a Canadian model, and many Canadian models don't have the tech. data sheet OR parts list online.

I'm sorry, I can't help you with this one. Try a local appliance parts store in your area.
