Hello, I’ve been looking through the threads and I believe I am having an issue with my ice maker that stems from the freezer temp.

Fridge was purchased about 15 months ago, so it is outside of the main warranty.

I have ran several diagnostic tests:

Test - 56: E0
Test - 57: 01 (This will usually spit out some weak ice cubes)
Test - 58: 10

Other tests completed
Test 01 (FC Thermistor) - 01
Test 02 (RC Thermistor) - 01
I pulled the back cover and verified the condenser and fan kick on.

I did noticed that when completing Test 03 that when it toggles between 13 & 23 I can not differentiate the air flow in the RC.

I stripped it down to the Evaporator Coils and found some ice buildup. I thawed the ice last night off of the lines above the coils but it is not temping any lower today (before and after pictures attached).

The FC at its best is temping at 14 degrees when it is set to -5. The ice box best temp is 18 degrees.

What is the best way to proceed?

Thank you,

I thought as much. I had a tech out from their service provider on Wed. this week. He ran a few diagnostic tests and told me a I needed a new ice maker. Based off everything I had read from you to other people, that didn’t sit right.

Appreciate the info you provide here.
