My ice maker stopped working. The ice maker switch is in the on position. The food in my freezer is frozen, the food in my refrigerator is cool. There is some condensation where the rubber seal on the French door seals around the ice trays interior door. I cut power to the unit for 10 minutes, turned the power back on and then ran some of these tests.
I have very little experience with appliance repair, but after reading a few threads I was able to run some of the service menu tests. Any of the test mentioning a motor running or moving I do not hear any activity in the refrigerator. When running test 45 I do hear the water turn on, I assume that means the tray is being filled.
I don’t currently have a freezer thermometer, but I ordered one that should be delivered soon.
Service Test Results:
15: 02
45: I hear the water engage, then code: 02
56: E0
57: Sequence is 1 > 20 > 02
58: 10
59: sequence is 10 > 02
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
