Hello, since the past month my fridge has been leaking water from the ice maker causing a bunch of water to freeze around the ice maker housing and the freezer door panel. It also drips into the ice and it ends up becoming a big block of ice making it so we are not able to use the ice maker. I checked the defrost drain outlet behind the fridge and it was not clogged. I don't know where the actual defrost drain is so didn't check if it was frozen. I also checked the water inlet valve and did not see any cracks.

Ok, its either the water inlet valve causing the ice maker to leak or the ice maker itself is leaking.

To narrow it down--->You can turn off the ice maker and see if water still leaks into the ice maker tray mold.

You have a primary and secondary water inlet valve, Both of these water inlet valves are in the back of your refrigerator. The dual one should be located behind the single one, it will have a small plastic cover over it that is held on by 1 screw, just remove that screw to get that cover off the dual one. When you click the water inlet valve part links you will see a video to show you how to access/replace them.

Here's the single(primary) water inlet valve for your model:

Here's the dual(secondary) water inlet valve for your model:

Here's the ice maker for your model:

Let us know what you find.

Got it thanks!

Would I have to replace both inlet valves?
No, its usually just the dual(secondary) water inlet valve that is leaking the water into the ice maker.

Let us know how it goes after you replace it.
