My 2016 Kitchenaide KRMF706ESS01 Refrigerator section stopped cooling (stays at 60 degrees) about a year ago. The freezer section and ice maker have continued working normal so we have kept it. Now the ice maker section temperature has also dropped to 60 degrees so no longer making ice. What can I do to try and isolate the problem and determine if it is fixable and what parts I need?

Pull your refrigerator out from the wall, then remove the lower back access panel and see if your condenser fan motor is running, its sits near the compressor.

Is the fan in the freezer running? Is the freezer below 10 degrees?

Do you see frost build-up on the back panel inside the freezer?

It MUST be 10 degrees or lower at all times for the ice maker to work properly and consistently.

If its not 10 degrees or lower in the ice maker compartment(aka ice box compartment), then I'd check the ice box fan motor to see if its running.

I'm attaching your tech data sheet below.

DO--->Service Test - 36: Ice Box Fan
--->Check for fan operation. Control ice box fan by selecting SW3. Display the status on Temp display. (01 = ON, 02 = OFF). Verify airflow from the ice box fan.
