• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

If slight downward pressure is made on handle when opening, the microwave turns on. The light, the fan, but not the turntable. I see no fault codes on the screen. The only way to stop the microwave is to open the door and reclose it. Pushing the "cancel" will not stop the microwave. I don't know if it is actually heating....didn't want to chance having a problem due to nothing being inside on the turntable.

Added complete model number

Last portion of the model # is needed

One of the door switches is bad. There is a interlock switch update. Call KA for safety issue

Place a damp paper towel and close door for about 10 seconds. If it's warm after the magnetron is running
