Just bought a house with this unit. Looks like a nice fridge, but it makes a noise for about 10-30 seconds maybe once an hour or so. Hard to describe noise, like a loud motor maybe, not a knock, some sort of vibration. It seems to be coming from behind the panel in the fridge top center (pictured). I'm pretty handy (not with appliances) and would like to figure it out, but I can't find any service manuals or anything, and I don't like going in blind. I have not tried very hard to remove the panel pictured, but I did give it a quick tug/squeeze, but would rather know how it comes off before a break some cheap plastic tabs. Anyone have a link to some diagrams or anything? Thanks a bunch in advance.

Hi,

Here's your parts diagram:
#15 is your damper control

It sounds like your air damper motor is broken/stripped and making that noise.

Here's the air damper assembly for your model you can order:
WPW10594329 Control

Watch this video to replace it:

Let us know how it goes.
