Hi,

I have Kitchen-Aid refrigerator model: KRFF302ESS03 (French doors) Canadian model. Earlier today, the water dispenser was working, but just now when I pressed the button, all I hear is a buzzing sound, and no water coming out. I use an official kitchen-aid water filter and it is about 4 months old.

I removed the water filter from the pull-down housing and pressed the two buttons located in the back of the water filter housing and water sprayed out with ample pressure. I then reinserted the water filter and now the water dispenser works again. There was no slurry sound when I pressed the button. Just the sound of water coming out with air pockets. What do you think happened?

Perhaps unrelated but back in Feb, I heard to turn the temp up one notch in the refrigerator as I was would hear a slurry sound. https://www.applianceblog.com/mainf...-few-secs-hear-slush-sound.95326/#post-493367

Hi Gus, so its working now? You can draw 10 glasses of water from the water dispenser to get the air out of the lines.

Its possibly the water filter head that's the issue if it keeps doing that.

Hi Jake,

Yes, it is working now. It only took a few seconds to purge the air gaps.
If it happens again, then I will take the route of replacing the water filter head.
