Recently my KitchenAid Refrigerator Water Dispenser started dripping. I have read on other blogs to purchased Water Filters that are suggested by KitchenAid. Today I purchased an Every Drop size 4 Filter, then ran about 3 gallons of water to flush. Prior to this I was using another OEM filter. I have been always using the same OEM filters with no issues until recently. I pulled the refrigerator out to look for additional leaking, which I did not find any. The dispenser drips about 2-3 drips per minute.

Any suggestions?

It could be the water inlet valve solenoid to the water dispenser is not closing all the way, thus the dispenser dripping. The water inlet valve is located in the back of the refrigerator, behind the rear access panel, where your water supply line hooks up to it.

To get the plastic lines off you just push-in on the ring that holds it in and pull the plastic line out while your pushing that ring in. On your model the water dispenser side should be the yellow colored solenoid, blue ring.

Here's the water inlet valve for your model, if needed:

Thanks Jake!

I purchased the water inlet valve and replaced it today. Unfortunately, it did not stop the drip. Is there an O-Ring somewhere that I need to replace? What is behind the plate of the water dispenser on the inside of the refrigerator? Where should I go from here?

Thanks!

Then its possibly the water filter head, that has a o-ring in it.

Here's the water filter head assembly for your model: Water Filter Head W11346623

I couldn't locate the video to replace that on your model, you need to have a tech. come out for that.
