Is there anyway to adjust the seal on the freezer door? I have a KitchenAid French door refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. The upper left hand corner of the freezer door does not seal properly and frost accumulates inside the freezer. I've tried putting some foam backer rod in between the seal and the door to expand the seal with limited results. I can see that the gap where the seal meets the freezer door is greater at the top than at the bottom when it is closed but I don't see anyway to adjust it. Thanks

Make sure the door screws are tight on both brackets.

Here's your owners manual: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8cgyvddmze6izhq/1507129L (1).pdf?dl=0

Page 9 shows the screws A and B in the diagram under where it says: Replace Drawer Front are tight on both brackets.

And make sure both brackets are not bent down causing the gap at the top.

Both screws are tight. I took out both draws to look at the whole mechanism, reinstalled everything. Maybe a new seal?? I can't believe that a refrigerator seal would need to be replaced after only a couple of years of use. Thanks for your help.

Yes, then it can only be a bad freezer gasket if the freezer drawer brackets are not bent.

Here's the freezer door gasket for your model:

This video gives you the general idea on how to replace it:

Ok Dan, that's what I would do.

That's very odd Dan, I don't know what else it could be.

Its best to have KitchenAid come out at 1-800-422-1230 and see what's going on at this point.

I think I jumped the gun saying it was not sealing. After a couple of days the new gasket now looks like its sealing properly. No ice build-up in the freezer. I'll give an update if things change. Thanks again Jake.
