I have a KitchenAid french-door bottom freezer model #KRFF707ESS01 SR.NO K80300508

The water dispenser works very slowly with only a small stream of water coming and it takes forever to fill 1 cup of water. This problem only occurs when the filter is in.

I've taken the filter out to test it, and with it removed the water pressure is significantly greater. More water comes out and much faster.

I'm assuming nothing is wrong with the water pressure but cannot figure out what the problem is. I also use the correct filters and have flushed out the water prior to replacing the filter.

Hi Jay,

Are you using the OEM water filter?

This is the OEM Water Filter for your model:

If you are using the OEM filter, then you possibly have a problem in the water filter head causing this low flow problem.
