FIXED KRMF706ESS01 KitchenAid Refrigerator not cooling properly, ice build up

Hi Jake, I direct connected the wires removing the connector. Took a while, but able to do it. It seems to be working fine, temp around 37-40 for the last 2 days, and no ice build-up that I can see. Hoping for the best. thanks a lot for all the help.
