FIXED KSCS25FSMS02 Kitchenaid side by side beeping, display went out,

The freezer side was making clicking on and off noises in last few weeks; yesterday there was a beep and display went out then came back on; temperature has gone up on both freezer and refrigerator sides. Should I run a diagnostics to determine problem? How do I do that? Thanks!

Hi Cynthia,

The problem is your main control board that's bad, its located in the back of your refrigerator.

Its #19 here: Parts for KitchenAid KSCS25FSMS02: Unit Parts

Located inside the cover #6. You have to remove the cover #6 to remove that board, Unplug your refrigerator first.

*Note: Part can no longer be obtained from the factory. Part can only be rebuilt. You can contact Circuit Board Medics for further repair instructions.

Thank you so much!! If it weren't for you the repair person would have made me buy another refrigerator!! He said the part was no longer available and offered no other options. I showed him your link and he said, "yea that might work" So again, thank you. I ordered the part and it was delivered 2 days later. My husband installed it and my refrigerator is like new!!
