Hi.. my kitchenaid oven KSEG700ESS3 is taking a long time to preheat to 400 degrees. It's taking 45 minutes and it only heats right while using convection. I'm getting the fault/error code F2E1 and it references a stuck key. Does that have something to do with the oven's ability to heat up? Thanks for any insight.

Hi David, can you please post a follow up to your previous thread first, so we know what fixed it:

For your oven problem, disconnect power to the range and ohm the bake element for continuity first:
Bake Element W10779716

This video shows how to ohm test it:

This video shows you how to access it:

Thank you.. I tested it and there is no continuity in the element. I will replace it. Should that then clear the F2E1 error/fault I'm getting? Thanks again.

Ok, sounds good, let us know how it goes.

Should that then clear the F2E1 error/fault I'm getting?
Do all the buttons respond when you press them? If so, then I'd erase that error code and see if it returns. I'm attaching your tech. data sheet below.

To erase all error codes: Enter Diagnostic Mode by pressing CANCEL>CANCEL>START within 5 seconds. Press the number 3 or 6 keypads until “Faults” appears. Press START TIME or DELAY START to clear all error codes.
