A local service provider (arranged by Whirlpool) came to inspect my KSSC42QTS00 without any resolution and follow up. In the meantime I ran the Service Diagnostics routine as indicated in the Service and Wiring sheet. The RC code stayed at 00 when it was supposed to indicate 01 or 02. Does this mean that I need a new main circuit board?

Yes, the problem is possibly your control board has gone bad.

They no longer make the original Control Board, its been replaced with this Service Kit:
W10789107 Electronic Control Board Service Kit


It comes with complete instructions to install it.

Got my control board back. Installed it back and the compressor and the fan are still not running. I found power to inverter unit, however no power to fan

Then they did not repair it properly, let them know. Because that board controls power to the condenser fan motor,

I received the control board after it’s being repaired for the second time. After installation, I am still not getting power to the condenser fan. While I am getting power to the inverter, I cannot detect DC voltage to the inverter signal line. Should the power to condenser fan be on all the time when the refrigerator is on? Or does it rely on a signal from a different component? I am wondering if I have another malfunction part

Yup, they still didn't fix it properly, I'd get your money back and buy the kit I posted above.

Nope.

That is the wrong thermistor anyways, that thermistor is #9 here:

When the compressor and inside fans are running it should be running too.

The tech was not very convincing. He said to start replacing control boards, then it might be the inverter or the compressor. This is why I replaced one board and got the second one repaired
