I replaced the front door seal, which seemed to be part of the issue but....

I am noticing a slow drip during wash cycle directly under the center of the dishwasher while checking underneath with a flashlight. I pulled the washer out and I think the thing in the picture is leaking.

Two questions:
1. What is the name of this thing?
2. Is it plausible that it is the cause of the leak?

Hi,

That's your diverter motor, that's usually where it leaks, you'll need to order and replace the sump assembly, the seal isn't sold separately.

Here's the sump assembly for your model you can order:

This video should be similar to your model on how to replace it:

Let us know how it goes.

OK! Mark this one as fixed!

To summarize: multiple leaks and water stains to prove it. Biggest one was from the front door seal, which I replaced in about 2 minutes. However, there were also two smaller leaks in the sump assembly. While I was a bit disappointed to have to buy the whole assembly, I'm glad I did because the seals were going bad on two parts.

Also replaced the soap dish WPW10195175 , which has been broken for a year.

Overall, she's as good as new!

Excellent, good job. (y)

Thanks for the update!

Jake
