Many thanks for the tech sheet. The fuse (8193762 / AP3178588) was open so I replaced it. The dishwasher ran daily for about two weeks then the replacement fuse failed. I suspect a short. I want to hardwire the connection and run the diagnostic to see if I get any clues to what the problem is. Any guidance?

Here's the thermal fuse for your model below.

That wiring that comes with the new thermal fuse kit MUST be changed for it to work properly, or it will keep blowing that fuse forever.
