FIXED KUDI01ILBL6 KitchenAid Dishwasher - Normal Light Blinking

You guys helped me fix my double oven - thanks again - and now I am back for help with a KitchenAid Dishwasher (model KUDI01ILBL6).

The dishwasher completed its cycle but the following lights were blinking: Normal, Hi-Temp Scrub and Cancel.

I did a power cycle on the unit and after powering up the Normal light is blinking.

If I perform the diagnostic button sequence - Hi-temp, energy-saver (tried both 2 times and 3 times), close the door and hit cancel then both the Normal and Cancel Lights blink
Is this the correct button sequence for this unit?

From what I have read, it looks like the control panel is bad. Yes?

Just to make sure I am doing the right thing and not missing an easy way to access the keypad, I will need to remove 12 torx-head screws to remove the inner panel of door. I assume then I will have access to the keypad.

Is that correct?

No just the 6 that hold the console. Recheck your model number and I'll double check. Nothing comes up with that one

Its your control panel thats bad, seen this happen many times.

His model# is KUDI01ILBL6. He just had a O after the "I" instead of a "0".

One last question and this comes from the Big Boss Woman...

Is this a repair you would make on a 7 year old unit? Nothing else has been replaced on the unit.

Yes, I would. Still has plenty of life left in it.
