Had problems about 14 months ago and on advice from Jake replaced the thermal fuse with W10258275 and wires.

See:

Today it died again with the same symptoms. The Wife started the DW sometime before I took an item out and I restarted it, several hours later discovered it stopped, I know I restarted it as I heard it start. Is there something else I need to check like control board that could be causing over heat? I'll start digging in the morning.

Bypassed the thermal fuse and got power, ran a rinse cycle on the dishes that were in there. Got the better part of a load sitting in the sink so I try running a full cycle, keeping a close watch, and see how it goes.

The control board itself is usually not the cause of overheating the thermal fuse, the water temperature is. How hot is the water in the dishwasher?

Make sure your water temperature is not too hot, normal is about 120 to 130 degrees F.

If your water heater is plenty hot, then I'd not use any heat boost options on your dishwasher.

Okay. I was thinking that maybe the board controlled the additional heating of the water. Input of the water is plenty hot enough. There is no options of raising the water temp at the dishwasher. When it tripped this time the wife used the SaniRinse cycle. I never do so maybe this was the time.

Anyway I'll check the water temp input. Have a thermal fuse on the way.
Thanks!

Yes SaniRinse boosts the temperature higher, I'd avoid using SaniRinse since your water is already plenty hot.:)
