How can I get the screws loose to replace the halogen bulbs. Have tried many different screwdriver heads and nothing is working. Any tips of tricks to remove them? I have replaced the bulbs once years ago and perhaps stripped the screw.

I don't know about that specific model but many appliance manufactures have recently started using Torx screws. If a bind, an Allen key can often be used. Careful not to strip the head though!
