Intermittently washer will overflow water due to going to spin cycle while filling for wash cycle. Didn't know what was causing this until I happened to be in the wash room when it happened. Never could catch it before! Lift lid to stop and then when I put ti back down it begins to agitate. Cleaned fill level hose, fill switch works and timer was just replaced in April for another problem. Since it doesn't do it every time it is doesn't make sense to call a repair service.

That's going to be hard locate the problem until it does it every time.

Have you tried the other cycles? Does it do the same?

When you say overflow water, just when it spins and spins the water over the top tub ring? Not while its filling?

Yes it was spinning the water over the top tub ring. There is a ridge the ring to catch this all around except in the back where the fill nozzle is, so I suspect that it throws it out there, down the inside of the back wall and then down through the bottom on the floor.

We are trying to use the permanent press side of the timer cycles to see if that makes a difference. So far so good.

I installed this timer New in April 2022. The old one had two broken fingers that caused it to stop working on certain cycles.
