LDE3037ST LG Range Oven Temperature

Leave it to LG to make things difficult. After a huge fight with them on a bad refrigerator, I vowed not to buy another one of their products. I'm going to start with replacing one sensor and see if that makes a difference.

I found this for a similar model (LDE3017ST).

Press the “clear” key then press the “LOWER BAKE” and “LOWER BROIL” key simultaneously for one second

Then press the “LOWER BAKE” and “LOWER BROIL” key simultaneously once more.

Press the number "3". The display will tell you what the control thinks the temperature of each sensor is at room temperature.

Check the sensors at the board by disconnecting the CN04 and CN05 connectors and measure the resistance in the connectors. According to these values, a 20° increase in temperature is a 6Ω difference.

Temperature on both is saying 70 now which is within a couple degrees of the indoor temp. CN04 has 1066 ohms and CN05 has 1054
