The initial problem with my LDF5545ST dishwasher was a "nE" code. That normally involves the diverter motor according to LG manual.

I ordered an OEM part for the motor (4681ED3001D) and the micro switch (3W40025C). I changed out the 2 parts and put the dishwasher back together. Turned the breaker back on and the buttons on the control panel at the top of the machine do nothing. Nothing lights up - seemingly no power to the touch control panel. I verified there is 120 at the junction box under the dishwasher.

I've attached the display PCB for the control panel. How do I verify that it is getting power?
If I verify the touch control panel is not getting power, does that mean the main control board is dead? Anything else to test, like the noise filter?

Can't figure out why power is not going to the touch control panel after "just" replacing those 2 parts. Incidentally, I checked the continuity of the original diverter motor and tested within normal range.

Update: I check fuse continuity on the noise filter and the main control board - both were good.

With power on I didn't notice a red led on the main control board (like the documentation indicates) so maybe the main control board is fried?
I also tried to check DC at the touch control panel (pins 3 and 4, and also pins 3 and 8), but it did not register. Had to use a sanded down paperclip to stick into the connector - the holes are super small!

Here's the parts diagram for your model:

Here's the service manual for your model: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rrq0WTzjZvfgti951HNx6T-POQhr0W4S/view?usp=sharing

I'm not familiar with LG dishwashers, so I wish I could do more to help you, but the service manual should be a big plus in helping you fix it.

Verified last night that 120 was coming into the main control board, but not out. It's the board - and that's about a $270 part delivered. I'll be buying a new dishwasher.

Ok sounds good, thanks for the update.

Jake
