The refrigerator door was left ajar on our LG model LFC21776ST/00 French door unit (10 yrs old) This was for a few days. When we arrived back to the house, the refrigerator was making a buzzing sound, and was not cold. Most of the items in the freezer were fairly defrosted. We unplugged unit overnight, but when it was plugged back in, the buzzing was still there, and it didn't seem to be cooling. I unplugged it now for 2 weeks, and just plugged it in again, and after about 10 minutes, the buzzing stopped, but maybe 5 minutes later it returned, and then after a bit, stopped, then started, and continues like this. Question is, do you think its the condenser? I am going to leave it plugged in overnight to see if it gets cool before we are maybe faced with having to get a new fridge. Any thoughts?
