We recently lost power a couple of times in short period of time during a recent storm. Since then I noticed that our freezer has stopped working. I noticed that the food was beginning to Thaw and also that the front display seemed to be displaying gibberish.

I moved all of the food into another freezer and unplugged the problem freezer for several hours. I plugged the unit back in and all I got was three beeps. The display is still displaying weirdly. Normally it displays a number between 0-7 depending on which setting you have it on.

I can’t even make out the numbers on the display as some of the LEDs are missing. The door ajar light isn’t working either. This leads me to believe that the circuit board is fried but I wanted to come on here for some feedback. is there something else I Could/should be checking?

Thanks,
Steve

Jake,

Thank you for the reply. This is what I suspected however I referred to it as the circuit board. I will get this order and am hopeful it will solve my problem. I will post again once I have the part and get it swapped out.

Thanks,
Steve
