Hi, can anyone confirm the white markings on the LG AJU74892401 Three way valve connects to the refrigerator capillary tube.

Match it to the old one. It should come with some sort of paperwork. Keep in mind there's plastic parts inside the valve when you braze it on.

Thank Rick, but no paperwork about the white tape. The old one had a black mark that went to the refrigerator evap.

I looked through a few LG service manuals but didn't find anything identifying the lines. Are the lines all the same size?

No...two capillaries ones are smaller. All I can find is that the right hand side connects to the refrigerator, left freezer.

So the larger one would be the in to the valve from the drier and the two smaller would be out to the evaporators. That larger in line goes into the valve alongside one of the lines out to the evaporator. Look on the old one and see which evap that line goes to.

OK, I see. The one with white tape goes to the fresh food evaporator.
