Hey howzit guys
I have an LG LFX31925ST refrigerator
Compressor seems to start and work well for a few minutes and then in about 10 seconds time the noise increases slightly and then a screech that I was convinced could be a fan stopping instantly; compressor is off. I have 6 blinking lights on the board and code 22 on the display
I have removed the only part next to the compressor, a small cylinder that I believe is the overload. Is this also the start relay?
Is there another relay part?
How can I tell if it’s the relay/overload or the compressor

Ok,

6 LED blinking=circuit overcurrent error

1. After resetting power, check if it is running normal.
If the same symptom arises after the first action, replace PCB.
If the same symptom arises after the second action, replace compressor.

Take a voltage reading on the compressor start device relay, on the 2 wires RED and BLACK and see what you get. Leave your meter probes in it for awhile and see if you get a constant 120 volts.
