LG electric range LDE3037ST

the front right burner stopped working some time ago. The control button for this burner looks like it is working. it indicates you have turned the burner on and you can set the temp.

not the smartest move, without testing, but I ordered a replacement and it still didn't work.
background.. this is for my mother and father. they are of poor health and isolated due to COVID so getting a repairman to come into their home is not the best idea.

on my last visit I did a continuity test on the burner, both the old one and the new one. they are both good. I checked all wiring connections for signs of burnt wires or loose connections. no sign of either.

I tested the outlet. It is receiving proper voltage.

there are multiple boards in the back. I don't know where else to look. nor to I have an electrical schematic to do further testing.

please advise.

Corrected model number

Hi,

We would need the exact model number on the Range, read it from the model number tag.

Then you will see a link that says: How to find a model number.

That information is provided in the the post. the exact model number from the tag on the back is FD1545TS.

I will have to ask someone to check the other locations for a tag.

Thanks! That model number is good, but I couldn't locate the tech. data sheet or service manual for it.

I'll ask Rick if he has it.

It's the control board for the cooktop. Here's the part you need:
