LG LFCS22520S Refrigerator freezing food

This fridge has been intermittently freezing food in the refrigerator. When I measured the temperature with a multimeter and thermocouple it was well below the set temp of 37 degrees. I changed the temp to 40 degrees, thinking this will bring the temp closer to 37 degrees. Today, the temp is staying at 40 degrees even when I try to move the setting back to 37 degrees. Does anyone have any ideas of what can be wrong?

Sidenote: blowing the dust off of the compressor seemed to fix the freezing food issue in the past.

Hi,

It's possibly the refrigerator thermistor, but I can't locate the tech data sheet for your model to tell you what it should read in ohms.
