Hi, just wanted an expert opinion before we buy a new fridge.

LG LRBC20512WW not cooling (bottom freezer)
SN 807MRFP04835 (seems to mean build date is JUL 2008 because it was bought about 10 years ago)

Freezer started to not freeze a few days ago.
Fresh Food section seemed fine at the time.
Now neither is cooling well (about 55 degrees in the freezer).
Condensor coils have been cleaned
Condenser fan is running
Evaporator fans are running
Evaporator coils are not frosted

Compressor is running (I can hear it start up and it smooths out and hums/vibrates slightly)
Used a clamp on meter on one of the leads and got 1.6.

Here is the big one: Resistance between each compressor pin is 0.0 once the reading settled down.
That means its dead right?

Evaporator coils are not frosted ..... Compressor is running
Basic refrigeration, if the compressor is running, and there is no cooling, the problem is with the sealed system. Could be a bad compressor, or refrigerant leak, or system restriction. Sealed system repairs are expensive and will often exceed the machines value.
