My oven (LG model LRE30755ST) made a loud pop sound when pre heating along with a chemical/burn smell. And obviously the oven is now not heating up. The burners still work. Taking off the back cover I found a black burn area from one of the circuit boards (?) and specifically from one of the black electrical connectors on that board. Do I need to replace the circuit board? If I can up load a pic I will. Thanks

Thank you. I ordered the control board. Those wires just pull off, right? No special tool needed? I wasn't sure what you meant when you said "with the exception of the stat above". And the wire connector spades go off and on pretty easy? thanks again

Correct.

See attached.

Cut off old, bare wire and crimp/squeeze on new connector.

jeff.
