Well this is getting more and more frequent.

The oven does it's little warning chime and there it is again, an F3 Key Error followed by an Oven Lockout. It can be reset and started up again but its happening more and more. Seems to happen when the range and the oven are in use. Maybe heat related. I dont know. It happened for the first time a couple of months ago, never heard that noise and had no idea where it was coming from. Now it's happening every week or every few days.

Anyone know how to start fixing this?

(I wont buy knock-off parts this time, I learned my lesson with the fridge)

F3 is a touch sensor key disconnect. LG says, replace the keypad assembly. So far I haven't been able to find the part for that model.

Hi,

Yes, usually that error code relates to the touchpad assembly.

Here's the touchpad assembly for your model you can order:

LOL, Rick beat me, but I found the touchpad for his model, and I had a heck of a time locating it too.😅

Anytime Rick!

Cayaco make sure you disconnect power before you replace it, and keep us posted.:)
