I have a seven year old LG gas oven that will not maintain temperature. It used to give me an F11 error code, but I replaced the igniter last week and that solved that problem, but now it will not maintain its temperature after preheating; after about five minutes the temperature had dropped down to 285° because the oven never turned back on after reaching 350°. I also just replaced the temperature sensor and that did not help the problem. I’m really hoping it isn’t the control board, because I actually had that replaced five years ago by a professional and would like to hope that it would last longer than five years. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

Was it working fine before you were getting F11 and replaced the oven ignitor? Where did you buy the ignitor at, if does make a difference.:)

If you got it on amazon or ebay, then that's most likely the problem, its aftermarket and will not work properly. You have to order the OEM oven ignitor from a OEM appliance parts dealer.

We recommend getting OEM parts from AppliancePartsPros and RepairClinic, all parts from them ALWAYS has a 365 day warranty.

Here's the OEM oven igniter for your model:
MEE61841401 Ignitor
