I have an LG refrigerator model LFXS26973S (french doors). About 2 weeks ago we had some crab legs thawing in the fridge and water from the bag spilled down the back side of the fridge. In the process of cleaning up it appeared that some of the liquid went into a drain in the bottom back of the fridge (see pic). There are 2 identical looking vents/drains in the bottom back (under the crisper drawers), but there is no physical access to these vents/ drains as the slots are part of the bottom part of the fridge.
I feel they drain into the drain pan in the bottom of the fridge. I did clean out the drain pan in the bottom (It did have some liquid that smelled like crab water) however, when the fridge runs, it still smells like crab. My guess is there is still some dried crab water in the tube from the vents inside the fridge down to the drain pan in back.
My question is - can I pour some vinegar or water in the vent/drain located inside of the fridge to maybe clean it out? I didn't want to pour anything in those vents if they didn't go to the drain pan.
