Hi All,
My Fridge LMXC23746D Stopped dispensing ICE and Water. The display on the door shows Error Code of E IS. I measured between pins 11 and 12 ( Blue and Yellow with blue striped wires) on Conn 5 when disconnected from the Circuit Board
and found it measures open. I cannot find in the service manual where the Icing Sensor is located. Could someone please let me know where in the refrigerator I can find it to replace it.
Thank you,
Mark M

That's why I'm not a fan of LG products, their service manual is very vague.

I can only assume the icing sensor is the sensor that tells the ice maker to stop making ice as the ice level rises in the ice bucket.

Look on the attachment below in the 3rd box, Check the Sensor Resistance. Is the Resistance OFF(Sensor Open)?--->Replace Refrigerator.

Thanks Jake,
I think they call what you are describing as the Ice level sensor. The one I am looking for seems to be a temperature sensor that I cannot find anywhere in the drawings. I hope I don't have to replace the refrigerator only the sensor.
