Back when I first got my LG washer, there was an issue with it under warranty. The repair guy came out with two boxes of parts, but he didn't need them all, and let me keep the extra stuff.

So, I have an extra washer control board EBR78534104 and stator 4417EA1002Y

I have no idea what they do. Would you keep these on the chance my washer will have problems later that these fix?

I can almost guaranty a washer problem down the road just because it's an LG. lol. Whether or not those two parts would be the problem is anyone's guess. The control more than the stator. I haven't had to replace an LG stator before. I've had to replace several control boards for different models but not that one.

I'm no expert but I have a 9 year old LG top load and I'm on a third control board. So my advice is if your planning on keeping the washer hold on to that board you can always sell it later if you don't need it.
