Hello, I have an lg heat/cool unit. The compressor keeps running.when powered off, which I understand might be a PCB board relay issue.

But I'm also having issues with the front coils frosting over. I just recently tore the ac apart and cleaned all the fans and coils. It still cools great, just the compressor constantly runs and if it runs too long the coils freeze over.

Do I have 2 issues or would the PCB board replacement possibly fix both? Any link to buy the parts and instructions? I'm quite a novice.

Hi,

No, you just have one issue causes both of those problems, that is the compressor staying on continually.

Here's the part you need to fix it:

I don't have the exact instructions for your specific model, but read this thread:
Its almost the exact same model as yours, and I told Jim how to do it. Your model should be very similar.

Ok, I'm assuming this board is the one directly behind the main button controls, correct?

Also, I found this part directly from lg, is is the same thing?

Thanks again
