I'm probably one of the few people that wants to add a buzzer to his dryer. Looking for input and a few questions:

Model is LGR4634EQ3. I attached some pics of the setup as well as the wiring diagram.

Is it as simple as just adding a buzzer and connecting the wires? Or am I missing the "Double Make/Break Timer Switch" that is mentioned and I'm mistaking that for the timer?

Thanks all!

This is from your owners manual--->(OPTIONAL STEP) If your dryer has a Cycle Signal (End of Cycle Signal) selector, set the selector to On if you want the dryer to sound a signal when a cycle is finished.

Looks like your model doesn't have the End of Cycle Signal buzzer, its not in your parts list.

That I don't know, I've never tried to add a buzzer to a dryer that didn't come with one already.

Maybe another tech. or member has done this and can shed some light on it for you.

I haven't tied it myself either but I don't know why not. The following buzzer is from another Whirlpool dryer model that uses the same timer and also has that feature.

I believe that switch is just to disconnect and turn OFF the buzzer when unwanted. If you don't mind it always buzzing when done, it shouldn't be necessary.

Thanks Dan. I was trying to find one so I appreciate that. There are a bunch on eBay so I may give it a try

And I'm also thinking the switch is just a switch. If it becomes annoying, I just have to disconnect it again.
