Liftmaster / Chamberlain 880LM Unresponsize

I know this website isn't really for garage door opener issues, but I figured I'd take a shot at it as there are plenty of smart/handy people here who have fixed there own garage door at some point.

A relative has a wall mounted CHAMBERLAIN 880LM "that hasn't worked in years." The unit has power but only displays "PRESS THE PUSH BAR TO ACTIVATE CONTROL SEE USER MANUAL". None of the buttons are responsive. Detaching the wires (removing power) and reattaching them does not resolve the issue. The garage door opener is a CHAMBERLAIN 45DCBR5 Any help is appreciated and thank you in advance.

Are you able to use the remote to open the garage door, or it is just the control panel that doesn't work?

I would remove the LED light(s), because some LEDs can interfere with a garage door opener's radio frequencies. You'll need to replace the bulbs with another type of bulb. Press button on a remote to open the door, and it might just start working again. If it doesn't work, tell me if the lights blink, and if they do, how many items they blink.

That's the part number for the logic board. If this model has two light bulbs, open the other light lens and you'll see the model number.
