Looking for information on Westinghouse refrigerator.

I recently bought a new house and while i was cleaning out one of the rooms I found this fridge in the back corner. I am looking for help in finding the date of the fridge and were i would be able to get replacement parts to refurbish.

It looks like circa mid 50's. Look for a metal tag around the compressor area sometimes you can find a patent date.

The only parts you'll be able to find is universal door gasket material and universal replacements for the compressor relay and maybe the thermostat. If you need cosmetic parts you're probably out of luck. You can look for another one for sale and make one out of two.

I'll take a look around the compressor see what I find.

Darn oh well on the parts everything seems to work on the fridge just need a new door gasket.

I will update my findings soon as I can.

Check out Antique Appliances in Georgia for the door gasket. They have a website. Model number LS-6-40 is a 1940 model having a 6.2 cubic foot capacity. It has a painted (Dulux) exterior, is 58 inches tall, and 29 inches wide. All three racks are present. Looks like the only thing missing is the drip tray that goes under the freezer box. A very nice fridge you have there! Hope that helps!
