What size cap is used in the Frigidaire LRA187MT2. The fans stopped today but compressor still starts. I have a cap on hand but might not be the correct one.

There appears to be 10 model a/c's that start LRA187MT2__. I looked up model LRA187MT20 and it uses the following capacitor.

Check the original. Its specification should be printed on its label.

I think it's got something to do with a flakey control board. It started working again. Previous owner said it would do this. Work several days, then one day, u have to keep retrying till it starts

There should be a tag on it that also contains its serial number. The complete model number may be on that tag as well. If not someone might have to look on the original circuit board to see if there is a part number stamped on it.

I looked up models LRA187MT20 and LRA187MT217 and both use this electronic control. I didn't check the other 8 possible models. They might use the same as well?
