I have a LRE30451ST and the front right burner will not shut off and is full power. I've already replaced the main PCB board but it didn't help. As soon as I plug in the range, the burner starts without any button presses. I've taken out the burner element to inspect it but it looks fine. I'm not sure what else could be the cause.

The burner controls sound like they're working. When I turn it on or change temps, I can hear the relay clicking on the main PCB.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That usually fixes it, look here:

Here's the main PCB for your model:
Pcb Assy, Sub EBR74632601

So if it didn't fix yours, check to see if a wire to that burner broke off and is touching cabinet ground, that will cause it to stay on all the time too. Disconnect power to your range first before checking your wires to that burner for a grounded wire.

Thanks for the reply.

I took apart the entire burner to see if I could see any broken wires, burns on the coil, etc. but nothing seemed out of place for what I could tell. I used a multimeter on the burner itself and it seems like it's functioning okay (no broken current).

I even went as far as to take off the other PCB board to check if any wires were loose/broken between that and the main PCB.

Ok, then I'm puzzled too, hopefully another tech or member that's had this happen before can shed some light on it.

Other than that you can contact a LG tech to come out to see what's going on.

I had the same problem until the burner stop working. I replaced the relay on the control board of that burner and problem fixed!. Cost me $11
Make sure you test the burner first. Do you hear clicks and the burner not turning on? It is the relay.

Yes, power off to the range first.:)

@Dadancetrax Glad to hear that fixed it.(y)
