Hi...I have an LG refrigerator with a bottom freezer. The refrigerator is 16 years old but works great. The handle on my bottom freezer broke and cannot be fixed. LG no longer make this OEM part. Any suggestions on used part stores or sites I can go visit to try and find this part?

It appears to have been discontinued for several years at least.

I have no idea how it is mounted but have you tried finding a drawer handle that might be able to be used instead?

Thanks Dan. They way it is mounted would not allow a door handle to work. I know it has been discontinued, but if there are any others out there that may know of any used appliance parts sites/stores, that's what I am looking for.

Hopefully I'm not too late! I have a similar refrigerator LRFD25850ST and I ended up fixing this myself. I have sold over 60 repair kits on ebay and amazon. Both the refrigerator door and freezer door handles are supported. Let me know if you're interested.

At this moment I'm prominent among the google ads if you google search for "lrfd25850st repair kit" - same search works for ebay. It costs everybody less if we transact directly without ebay/amazon taking their cut.

I suspect that my refrigerator model is not the only one with this replacement part issue. Hopefully I can find others without having to own the appliance for 18 years
