I have an LG fridge that needs a new start relay. It's the weirdest thing. The parts diagram from LG doesn't include a start relay - only the capacitor and a "start relay cover". Not what I need. I found this on a different thread here...

The Repair Clinic system says the part will not fit my model, but it looks almost exactly like the one I have in my hand. Would this work? Will it kick my compressor on?

Barring that, I have no idea how to find the actual part number because LG basically claims it doesn't exist by not including it in the diagram. I've even called LG and their "preferred parts distributor" was of no help at all.

If it looks the same it will probably work. The difference might be the way it attaches to the compressor. The three pins on the compressor are in a triangle configuration. The pin at the top of the triangle can be either at 12 o'clock or 6 o'clock position on the compressor. This one should work also:
