I started having an issue with my washer. At first my washer would not spin sometimes. Like, after a while of turning the washer off it would start to spin again.

Me and my husband decided to try change the motor coupler and the clutch assembly. We was having a hard time getting the couplers flushed. It was late at night and we just said there is no way and we left it the way it was and finished putting it together.

Note: I was able to spin the old motor coupler when everything was put together, but I can not spin the new one. After everything is out together.

We hook everything up and pray for the best. Well, it's having a hard time agitating and now it will not spin at all.

Sounds like you might not have the motor coupling on properly. I'd first Unplug the washer and recheck your installation.

Here's the motor coupling for your model:

Let us know how it goes.

UPDATE: I tried to wash a load of clothes today. Well, it was working fine at first, then sometime during the wash cycle the agitation stopped and it started humming. Please help!!

That is odd. When it hums--->FIRST Try slow speed in wash too. If it still hums--->Try taking the motor off(take pump off too), and laying it on the floor, but connected to the electrical, then turn it on in the wash cycle and see if the motor runs instead of hums.

You would need to bypass the lid switch can it can spin with the cabinet off, Jeff has a page that shows you how to do that here: Bypass Direct drive washer lid switch from consol plug

If the motor still does not start--->Either the motor capacitor, centrifugal mechanism in the motor is not working, or the motor switch is bad. The start winding in the motor is only meant to have power applied for the 1-2 seconds it takes to start the motor and then it is switched out of circuit by the centrifugal mechanism activating the motor switch. If it doesn't disconnect the start winding, it will burn up the capacitor and can damage the winding. You can test the switch and see if it's bad.

If the washer works ok on slow speed, then the centrifugal mechanism in the motor is working. Check continuity between the two outermost terminals of the switch. With the switch in place, it should read as a dead short. Pulling the switch away from the motor releases the switch lever arm and now the reading should be an open circuit.
