Model LSN1000LW0

Washer agitates and drains.
Washer will not spin during spin cycle... it screaches horribly though.
I have tried to rotate the drum and it will not spin. (from the top, it is not yet taken apart.

Wondering if the clutch could do that or if it is something like the transmission or

Or something like a center post bearing or something else???

Washer is a 2002

Maybe should mention that it has been a bit loud during agitation cycle... like it clanked louder when the agitator reverses direction back and forth. But it does still agitate.

Do you see the silver clutch turning when it should be spinning in the spin cycle?

You'd have to jump the lid switch so the washer will spin in the spin cycle, this link shows you how to do that: Bypass Direct drive washer lid switch from consol plug

The silver clutch is just above the gearcase.

If its not turning, your gearcase is shot.

Here's the gearcase for your model you can order(Video Included in part link):

If the silver clutch is tuning and if your motor coupler looks fine, then you'd need a new clutch. Whenever I replace the clutch I always replace the basket drive assembly as well, as they both work together.

Here's the clutch for your model:

Videos to replace each part are included on each part page.
