Here’s a different angle and the condition it was found in. Markings unknown as my attempt to mend it destroyed the ability to see them.

No, showing its bottom doesn't help. I would need to see what the terminals are connected to. It might be just a busbar??

That’s it. Just the top isn’t opened. Found it snapped/crack but no signs of a spark. Fuse blown though on circuit board. New circuit board didn’t fix the issue. Is this the culprit?

Left to wonder what would be so forceful as to crack the shell. No evidence of prior servicing.

All busbars do it connect the wires together that are attached to the same metal part. The plasic does nothing and just insulates the metal parts from touching anything else.

Just the plastic being broken would not affect any functioning.

IF it is a busbar, the plastic is just an insulator. Its only function is to insulate the wires attached onto its terminals.


Broken plastic would do nothing in itself if that's what you're referring to. It might make it hard to mount but nothing else.
