I have a Bradford White 30 Gallon Water Heater that is about 15 years old. It is leaking heavily from the Pressure Release Valve on top of the tank. When the water shut off valve is opened, water gushes upward from below the Pressure Valve elbow, very strong (pic below is gushing at 1/4 open). I cannot see the actual joint at the tank due to the plastic collar I could not remove without breaking it. There is rusting inside the bottom area where the burner is, as well as down the flue from the top. I'm not sure if it can be salvaged or should just be replaced??? Please see pics attached. Thanks!

You will need to replace the water heater, too much rust, and that's likely why its leaking at the Pressure Release Valve on top of the tank too.

Ok Jake, thank you. Any recommendations, or features to look for when buying? Brand names maybe? Im just going to replace it with a similar unit. Thanks!

Any well known brand names are good.
