This wall oven is out of a 1978/1979 mobile home. I have scoured the internet for any info on this oven, the manual to it, parts listings, and to no avail!! I did finally find the Model & Serial Number metal tag..finally…After two months of looking for it, purely by accident. Does anyone know where to find any info on this oven?, the manual?, parts?.. I’ve tried everywhere I know to try. The model number does not even come up at all, on any internet site, parts warehouse…etc. It’s almost like the model dropped off the earth. There has to be an old reference guide for the Magic Chef model numbers and part numbers, and/or cross references. I was happily able to find a company that was licensed by GE to work on the clock and timer, and it was fast service, and I was so happy to be able to have the clock and timer working in its original glory. The current parts I need for this wall oven are: the light socket for the upper oven, the switch for the oven light, and the broiler pans/accessories for the bottom oven. I have the part numbers for the light switch and the light socket, but those numbers do not come up on the internet anywhere. I also have the cook top and the vent hood, with model and serial numbers, but will cover them separately in other threads, they too have seemed to not exist on this earth 😊…but someone, somewhere, has all of this info, to each appliance.

Models made before the 1980's are rarely found online.

How about telling us?

the broiler pans/accessories for the bottom oven

Is there something special about them? Parts like that are the least likely to be found for older appliances. Popular electrical parts are a little more likely. A little!

The light socket if untraceable might be substituted with another brand's part but we'd need to see detailed photos of the original. THe same for the switch.
